DarkSkyCheck is run by a small team. If a city's band, its nearest-darker-sky figure, or a link looks wrong, that's useful to hear, the whole point of the site is that the number is trustworthy.

What we cannot do

We cannot certify a Bortle rating for a specific address, forecast a specific night's weather, or sell astronomy equipment, see the terms of use. For a certified Bortle observation, a local astronomy club or a dark-sky park's own rangers are the better source.
